Lastly, creating an post with hashtags of your interests will help with discovery!

@robert excellent Mastodon introduction indeed 👏🏻!

For iOS users I would definitely recommend “Toot!” app, so far the best I’ve used, I am really liking it.

@robert the only thing I find a bit difficult is finding new content, so I’m using Tootdon to explore hashtags, but I’m pretty sure @tootapp will eventually get more and more functionality 👍🏻

@eruizdechavez @tootapp Agreed; the best way I have found, is clicking through hashtags; following a bunch of people, engaging with people. Good stuff bubbles to the top and it is easy to trim the fat.

It is worth noting, that up-to-date mastodon instances have this great tag explorer feature on the web UI: boardgames.social/tags/boardga as an example.

@robert nice! I’ll take a look at it!

I’ve seen also something called Tusk I think 🤔 but I don’t like the idea of following random people blindly 🤷🏻‍♂️

@robert Excellent! May I copy and paste this to the new users on penguicon.social?
